Our goal is to achieve maximum life cycle profit of your material handling equipment by increasing the overall crane effectiveness.
Delivering a Maximum Return on Investment
Only Konecranes offers inspection and maintenance programs enhanced by a sophisticated maintenance management software system called MAINMAN. The MAINMAN is a multi-point visual inspection of overhead lifting equipment enhanced by Konecranes proprietary software. The MAINMAN inspection captures data on the condition of over 225 crane components and then analyzes, prioritizes, and schedules required repairs in compliance with local statutes and laws.An investment in the MAINMAN inspection results in fewer safety failures, reduced production consequences, and a steady increase in crane reliability. But, it takes more than just a checklist. Certified inspectors of Konecranes evaluate hundreds of components, going beyond meeting regulations to get to the root of the problem. Regardless of the crane model or brand, each MAINMAN inspection is customized and includes data on mechanical, structural, and electrical aspects of the crane. Inspectors draw on thousands of hours of training and experience to analyze wear patterns and offer cost-effective recommendations.
The MAINMAN Maintenance Management Program® goes one step further, exceeding regulation compliance through additional repair and maintenance services. The ability to predict maintenance needs greatly reduces equipment downtime and delivers a maximum return on investment. The full maintenance program offers free, expert advice and the global resources of Konecranes.
Periodic Inspections
A statutory scheduled inspection determines whether crane usage has caused any safety concerns, and addresses material fatigue, wear, corrosion, and other damage. The operational reliability inspection covers user safety, the persons working within the operating zone of the lifting equipment, and service and repair personnel. The operational reliability inspection also ensures operating reliability of the crane by defining the maintenance status of the equipment and checking preventive maintenance adequacy.Condition Monitoring
The purpose of a condition monitoring inspection is to ensure the operation of the equipment through the increased frequency of inspections. Where required, the condition monitoring inspection can be linked to scheduled service as a preventive measure. Procedures focus on the critical components and parts of the equipment.Compliance and Safety Inspections
Konecranes will design an inspection program to monitor your lifting equipment's compliance with local statutes and laws. Along with our software program, our inspectors pinpoint safety and compliance issues on your equipment and also monitor critical items that can result in equipment downtime. Teamed up with our industry-leading maintenance programs, Konecranes will keep your lifting equipment running-saving you money on unnecessary production downtime and costly fines.
