Konecranes offers in-depth motor assessments to prevent your company from costly failures that stop your production processes.  Overhead crane motor failures can be caused by the breakdown of the motor winding insulation, leading to an electrical short in the motor windings. The Konecranes team of technicians apply their industry leading experience to identify potential issues that lead to motor failure.

Motor Assessment

Konecranes offers two major types of Motor Assessments:

  • Motor Insulation Assessment: Konecranes technicians test the motor insulation value by attaching test leads to the motor. 
     
  • Vibration Analysis:  Konecranes technicians perform a vibration analysis to ensure mechanical components are in working order and are not on the verge of failure and an expensive shut-down.
