Konecranes is pleased to announce its Unification with Morris Material Handling

In May of 2006, Konecranes, Inc. acquired MMH Holdings, Inc., the owner of Morris Material Handling, Inc., its affiliates and subsidiaries. Over the past three years, the two companies have operated independently, competing directly in several market segments. At the same time, we have pursued an increasing amount of back-office and supply chain synergies.

It is now our intention to take the development of these two leading organizations to the next level by fully unifying our operations under the Konecranes banner. This unification process has already begun and it is our plan to complete it by December 31, 2009.

The next few months will be a transition period during which the unification will advance in phases. Please note that until you (customers, suppliers and distributors) hear from us on specific matters such as order processing, placing service calls, etc., there will be no change; i.e. “business as usual”.

Your local representative will be contacting you shortly to answer all your questions and to assist you in a smooth and seamless transition. Additionally, we will be posting practical information and answers to Frequently Asked Questions on this web site. Please visit from time to time.

Traditional P&H branded products will continue to be offered, supported and serviced with OEM (original equipment manufacturer) parts, training and know-how.

Additionally, through your local contact customers will have access to the vast Konecranes product and service offering. Visit us at www.konecranesamericas.com. What this means to our valued customer is the very best the industry has to offer and the broadest range of products and services in the Americas, all from a single supplier.
