Konecranes provides comprehensive solutions

Load handling devices used for bracing/grabbing the load are called grab devices.

  • Pneumatic grab devices brace the load using cylinders activated by air pressure.
  • Mechanical grab devices do not need additional energy, such as magnetism, air pressure, or vacuum, to brace the load.
  • Magnetic grab devices are only suitable for magnetic components such as metals because they utilize magnetism to grab the load
  • Vacuum grippers are generally used for dense materials such as glass, synthetic materials, and metals because they grab the load using vacuum suction cups.

These cranes can be combined with jib cranes, competent support and ergonomic hollow profile crane systems XM and XA in addition to the variety of grab devices and control options mentioned above.
