Konecranes offers the ideal electric hoist for wind turbine applications. The wXN Electric Chain Hoist is equipped with the features necessary for wind turbine maintenance. This light-weight, compact hoist is mounted to a jib crane within the nacelle of the turbine. Using the hoist for service applications allows maintenance staff to safely raise and lower turbine appliances for repair or replacement through the hub, as opposed to accessing the nacelle through the hatch or along the tower.

- LIGHT-WEIGHT: The hoist body is constructed from pressure-cast aluminum for optimal weight reduction, which is a critical consideration for turbine applications.
- QUICK, EASE-OF-USE: Using the wXN is a less time-consuming option than transferring parts to and from the nacelle using the top hatch.
- SAFE ACCESS: Servicing the turbine at the hub allows obstruction-free access to the hatch for emergency exit situations.
